Recent assignments within the financial services and private equity sectors included finding CFOs, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Operating Officers, CHROs, and General Counsels. He has developed a digital transformation search expertise, energizing banks with innovative leadership in technology and operations. Matthias recently conducted a leadership assessment for a leading banking industry association. He has also been nominated to be a Judge for the Financial Times PWM Global Private Banking Awards in recognition of his expertise and involvement across the sector globally. 

 

Previous Experience

Matthias held senior roles working in Investment and Wealth Management as well as in Capital Markets. At UBS, he built and led a diverse and cross-regional organisation while he was based in Hong Kong and Singapore, advising Global Investors on investments in Asia. He had assignments in Global Markets and Securities at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs in London. Matthias spent a period in market analysis for Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, a leading venture capital and private equity firm based in London. 

 

Education

Matthias holds an MBA from London Business School and is a CFA charterholder. He earned credentials from Harvard Kennedy School's Promoting Racial Equity program. He's certified in Hogan Assessments which are used primarily to predict success in personal diagnostic decisions.
